WHAT IS LOVE?




So many people ask me, what is love?
I then sought out to find out what is love?
I finally got the perfect answer
Even though it’s not a solution to cancer

Love is forgiving
Love is about giving
Love is caring
Love can also be daring
Love is overcoming
No one knows when love is coming
Love is understanding
Love doesn't care where you’re standing

You give your all when you’re in love
You fight all obstacles when you’re in love
Love is the greatest gift of all
There's nothing like the greatest love of all.

Then someone asked me, what are the types of love?
I simply replied, “There are so many types of love”
Love like that of Romeo and Juliet
Unlike that of the Russian roulette
Love like that of Jack and Rose in titanic
That looks like the most gigan(t)ic
Love like that of Yemi my lover
You know I'll always call you my lover
The love between a brother and sister
You'll always love your brother and sister
Love between a mother and her child
She'll never let evil befall her child

But do you know the greatest form of love?
I think I know the greatest form of love
It’s the love God has for the world
That He gave up His Son to save the world
To save us of all sins and inequities
He succeeded in saving us of all sins and inequities
Why then do we go back to our sins and inequities?

Let’s love one another
Not hate one another
Be your brother’s keeper
And not a football goalkeeper
Love brings about unity
Hatred brings about disunity
The only way we will keep rising and not fall
Is united we stand and divided we fall.
